Making Sense of the Whole Training Program
Curriculum Design
When approached ad hoc, training can result in a learning journey lacking purpose and cohesiveness. This is where curriculum design and systems thinking come in! In addition to conventional methods such as backward design and employing an iterative process, the CIPP model, overlayed with ADDIE, is an excellent way to illustrate one way to keep the learning journey mission-centric, meaningful, and effective. Learning Cluster Design is another technique that can be used to organize learning experiences into meaningful, continuous experiences.
